1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern every booking made with Vaishnavii International Courier & Cargo ("Vaishnavii", "we", "us"), operating from Shop 38, First Floor, Amidhara Shopping Centre, Nr. Shivaji Chowk, Naroda, Krishna Nagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat — 382345, India. By booking a shipment, requesting a rate, or using our tracking tool, you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

We arrange international courier, parcel and cargo shipments by air and by sea, including express parcel delivery, document courier, freight & cargo, and e-commerce fulfilment, from Ahmedabad to destinations worldwide. We act as a forwarding agent and coordinate the shipment with airlines, shipping lines, customs brokers and last-mile delivery partners in the destination country — we are not the final carrier for every leg of the journey.

3. Booking and payment

• A booking is confirmed once the shipment details (sender, receiver, weight, dimensions and declared contents) are recorded and the applicable freight charges are paid or agreed.
• Chargeable weight is calculated as the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight, using standard industry volumetric formulas.
• Rates quoted are for the service level and destination stated at the time of booking and may change if the shipment's weight, dimensions, destination or declared value differs once verified.
• Additional charges — such as destination duties, taxes, storage or address-correction fees — are the customer's responsibility unless we have explicitly agreed to prepay them.

4. Prohibited and restricted items

Customers must not book shipments containing items prohibited by Indian export law, the destination country's import law, or airline/shipping-line regulations. This includes (without limitation) firearms and ammunition, narcotics, hazardous or flammable materials, counterfeit goods, perishable food without proper clearance, and currency or bullion, unless separately agreed in writing. We reserve the right to inspect, refuse, hold, or return any shipment that we reasonably believe contains a prohibited or misdeclared item.

5. Customs clearance

The customer is responsible for providing accurate invoices, item descriptions and declared values for customs purposes. We assist with documentation and customs coordination, but we do not control the customs authority's assessment, duty rates, or clearance timelines in the destination country. Duties, taxes and any customs-related delay are outside our control.

6. Transit times and delays

Transit-time ranges shown on our website or quoted to you are estimates based on typical service performance and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays can occur due to customs holds, weather, airline/shipping-line schedules, incorrect or incomplete address details, or events outside our reasonable control (force majeure). We will keep you informed using the tracking details provided at booking.

7. Liability

Our liability for loss or damage to a shipment is limited to the declared value stated at booking, or the limits set by the applicable carrier's conditions of carriage, whichever is lower. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business or loss of profit arising from a delayed or lost shipment. Customers are encouraged to declare an accurate value and consider insurance for high-value shipments.

8. Cancellations and returns

A booking can be cancelled free of charge before the shipment is picked up or handed over for transit. Once a shipment has entered the export or customs process, cancellation may not be possible, and any freight already incurred is non-refundable.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute arising from a booking with Vaishnavii International Courier & Cargo will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable regulations. The version published on this page at the time of your booking applies to that shipment.
